Here are some more pictures from our New Years Eve at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
They had these trains on display, it was really cool. There was smoke coming out of the chimneys and the Christmas lights on the houses would blink in time to the Christmas music. The kids loved it but then so did the adults. If you click on the photo below to enlarge it and then look at the hood of the locomotive you will see Jack Hanna's autogragh.
Megan and Paige horsing around on the manatee sculptures. The signs behind them are for summer time and they warn that the sculptures may be hot to the touch. I think the only thing they have to worry about in winter is licking them and getting their tongues stuck.
Brittany, Paige and Megan doing their best fish faces! Blub, blub!
Hey I made it into a picture...me and my girls on the last day of 2007.
B.F.F. Paige and Brittany, they have been friends so long they can't remember not being friends.
Above the top of the photo...below the bottom. Paige has her own ice skates that's why hers are white. The blue ones are rentals.
Mike and Megan skating along.
Look how confidant Megan is and I am skating behind her ready to rescue her if she crashes . By the end of the night we had to do a lot less rescuing. She is pretty good about getting herself back up on her skates and she even does a little spin sometimes to keep herself from crashing.
Brittany and Paige the little ice princesses!
Megan skated up a thirst...good thing we packed hot cocoa!
