Pictures of Fish


Last Friday Megan brought home this stunning work of art. It is her interpretation of "The Fish Bowl" by Matisse. That picture by Matisse has always been one of my favorites...now I have a new favorite!


Speaking of fish and interpretations...Paige has turned this cute little notebook that Aunt Deb gave her into her sketch book.

For those of you who don't know or have not visited my sister's blog JustMeShann (if you click on the July 2008 there is a great picture of Paige and Nugget together)
that is Nugget. Nugget and Paige are about the same age 11 going on 12 (in May). Paige is very fond of Nugget, when we go to Aunt Shann's it's the first thing she wants to do...go out back and hand feed Nugget. He slurps the fish pellets right out of her hand...I think she was about 2 when she fed him the first time.

Paige found the pictures in on my scrap table and she has been drawing them in her sketch book. She has not had formal drawing/ sketching lessons. She must get her artistic skills from her Aunt Shann (they also almost share a birthday Shann's is May 12th and Paige is the 13th).
