These are the last of our beach pictures they were taken on Tuesday 6-27-07. We decided to get up early so we could see the sun rise over the Atlantic ocean. We even let the girls go out on the beach in their p.j.'s . We took baggies along to collect shells and we took lots of pictures. As we were all standing in the surf together about to head back to the hotel for breakfast Megan started jumping around and saying "it stings, it stings!". It turns out that something stung the top of her foot, we were in ankle deep and we were so close our feet were practically touching and somehow this mystery stinger (we are calling it a Jellyfish since we had seen a few on the beach) chose the tiniest foot. Mike scooped her up and carried her back to the hotel, but not before I snapped a photo. When we got back to our room I gave her some Ibuprofen for kids and put some Burt's Bee's sting salve on it. That seemed to do the trick because the welts and the pain went away by the time we ate our waffles. I told Megan I hope you won't be afraid of the ocean now. I told her that I have been in the ocean lots of times and never got stung by anything, and that she got her sting out of the way early in life. I hope she believes me! The view of our motel from the beach. Our room was on the 5th floor and we overlooked the pool and the beach. It was so soothing to wake up to the sound of surf.

Looking for shells. The shells wer not that great but we found some with little holes that we plan to put on bracelets!

Mike found this little guy washed up on shore.
