Here are some more pictures from our last day at the Magic Kingdom. We asked if we could ride in the front of the Monorail with the driver , we had to wait for about 3 trains then it was our turn and guess what? Our driver was a Buckeye! All of the Disney cast members have their hometown printed on their name badges and Ron our monorail driver was from Columbus, Ohio as a matter of fact he was a retired school teacher and he has been driving the monorail for 6 years now. I asked him if that was a bit easier than teaching school in Columbus and he laughed and said yes. He was a real nice fellow and he even gave the girls Monorail Co-Pilots license. It was quite fun riding in the front of the monorail, the view is the best especially when another train passes. It was a fun way to start our day. Come back by tomorrow and I will post some pictures from our day at Daytona Beach. All ready to start our day at the Magic Kingdom, waiting for the Monorail. Front seat...Monorail Co-Pilots Megan and Paige.
Ron our Monorail pilot from Columbus, OH.
Megan and I can see Space Mountain in the distance!
Mickey and Minnie Mouse the King and Queen of the Magic Kingdom!
Megan and Paige pose with Belle in her story garden.
Look at these little scurvy pirate girls....arrrrrghhhh
Megan, Paige and Brandi the Three Mousekateers!
Making magical memories in 07!
Now that's a Goofy Pirate...watch out Captain Jack Sparrow ya have some competition now!
Megan and Paige pose on the big chair at Minnie's house.
Megan driving the race cars...or at least steering while mom mans the gas pedal.
Megan gives the race cars two thumbs up!
Paige is ready to race! Go #84!
Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Megan do a princess pose.
The girls favorite princess. Cinderella is just as sweet as she is beautiful.
Megan told me "I know why Belle had to leave her story garden? Because she had to go change into her ball gown". This was the second time that the girls got to visit with Bell in the same day. That Belle is a busy princess.
Paige was a Junior Space Cadet for her score in the Buzz Lightyear ride. While on the ride you shoot your lazer gun at the targets for your score then when you get to the end of the ride you can see how you rank.
Mike and Megan shooting up the Evil Zerg!
Paige posing on the Astro Oribtor.
Mike and Megan on the Astro Orbitor.
Getting silly on the Teacup ride. "A very merry unbirthday to you! It's my unbirthday too, a person has one birthday a year but they have 364 unbirthdays, well then it's my unbirthday too." The Mad Hatter, March Hare and Door Mouse from Alice in Wonderland.
"I'm late I'm late for a very important date. No time to say Hello, Goodbye I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!" The White Rabbit in Alice In Wonderland
This sign hangs in the long, long hallway that you walk down after getting autographs from the Disney characters in Toon Town. We thought we would do a silly pose just for fun. We are supposed to be yawning but for some reason Megan just has a silly grin on her face.
Hope you are not tired of our vacation photo's yet...we have Daytona Beach for tomorrow!
