Here are some more photo's from our first day at The Magic Kingdom. We didn't take as many photo's this day because we just had the little camera, then the batteries pooped out and then it rained later in the day. We started this day off in Adventureland and we rode each ride in that section before going to another section. It was a good way to do the park not as much hiking around. We walked through the "Swiss Family Robinson Tree House", rode Aladdin's Magic Carpets, saw the show in the Tikki Room (ya know the tikki tikki tikki tikki room) did the Jungle Cruise (the animals don't look as real as they did when I was 7, hmmmm) and one of our favorites "The Pirates of the Caribbean". They have redone the Pirates ride and Captain Jack Sparrow shows up in 3 different scenes. He looks good too, they got the eyes perfect!

Check out my Blog of the day for photos from our hotel pool.
I almost forgot to post this one of Brer Bear, Megan, Paige and Brer Fox!
Here we are first thing in the morning, nice and fresh walking around in the Swiss Family Robinson Tree house. I don't think this would have been half as fun later in the day when it was near 90!

On Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride!

The "Tikki Room" a classic!

Going on the Jungle Cruise!

Megan and Paige looking goofy in their 3-D glasses for "Mickey's Philhar-Magic" show. This is a fun show to sit and watch your kids try and grab the 3-D Jewels that seem to float out at you in the Ariel scene.
The last time we were at Magic Kingdom they had the "It's a Small World" ride shut down for refurbishment. So this was the first time that Paige and Megan went on it. They both enjoyed all the glitter, singing and bright colors...also the air conditioned boat ride was a plus too.

In line for the Dumbo ride....Megan insisted we wait and it doesn't really matter because there is ALWAYS a line!
As always Dumbo is worth the wait...love those smiles!
Here's a cute shot of Paige and Mike on the "Transit Authority"...a good ride to go relax on...never a line, and it is covered and you can rest your feet. Oh and for some reason the picture of me and Megan turned out blurry.

Here we are at EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow). It was very bright and sunny -hot-humid the day we were there. We enjoyed all the rides, Soarin was our favorite. It is like a hang glider ride over California, including the Golden Gate bridge, Napa valley, the Sierras, Palm Springs, the Pacific Ocean and of course Disney Land and the fireworks and Tinkerbell. It was such a real feeling of flying and the movie was so real that Paige lifted her feet up when we went over the Russian river and their were people in the movie fishing, she didn't want to kick them in the head. It was too funny! The girls also braved the G.M. Test Track for their dad. Paige was not thrilled about going on it. Then it turns out her favorite part of the ride is that fastest part when you go up to 60 mph in the convertible cars around the outside of the building.

We also enjoyed walking around World Showcase Lagoon and visiting all of the different countries. The girls colored a mask in Mexico and then collected stamps and a charm from each country for their mask. They each got their names written on their mask in China and Japan, that was cool.

Make sure to visit my Blog of the day for a great picture of Mike, it will make ya smile:)

It's Dory, Marlin and Nemo!
The Seagulls in the background of this photo of Paige and Megan are just like the ones in "Finding Nemo". They squawk and say "mine mine mine" every so often. The kids thought that was hilarious!
Gil from "Finding Nemo"

In Mexico there were some artist carving these little figures out of wood and then painting them with bright paint and tiny little patterns. They were fun to look at, so colorful and creative.

We found these cute little Viking's in Norway after we rode the Viking boat ride...another fun and exciting ride.

Did you know that the legend of Trolls comes from Norway? Just goes to show you learn something new every day. Also the Disney cast members from Norway are very very tall...the men and woman were all over 6 feet tall.
Megan and Paige posing in China while we wait to see a 360 degree movie "Reflections On China".
I couldn't resist taking a picture of this incredible kimono in the Mitsukoshi Departement store, an immense three-centuries-old retail firm known as Japan's Sears Roebuck. I bought myself a book mark and the sales clerk offered to write my name in Japanese on the back. I also bought Paige and Megan each a rice bowl that have these darling little dogs painted on them. I thought they would make cute ice cream bowls.

That little speck
of blue green
light is a little
pixie better
known as
Tinker Bell.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!
I thought it would be the perfect day to share our Disney fireworks photos. Megan finally got to see Tinkerbell fly from the castle. The last time we were there when she was almost 3 she would fall asleep after the light parade and be conked out by 10 p.m. when the fireworks start. If you look close in a few pictures you can see Cinderella's castle all lit up. It is so fun to see the lights change colors...no matter how many times you see it it is still impressive.

We hope you all have a safe and happy Independence day. Please take a moment to remember the brave men and woman that are fighting for our country. Keep them and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Fly your flags, wear your red white and blue and GOD BLESS AMERICA that we can!

Our first day at Sea World, Orlando

Here are some pictures from our first day at Sea World. You really need to go two days if you want to see all the shows. We all loved Sea World...the shows were great and it was a nice change of pace from Disney.

Don't forget to check out my Picture of the day blog for more photos. We have a zillion pictures to share...hope you don't get sick of them.

Hey girls put your arms up like you are spinning fast!

More crazy hat photos!
Paige and Megan posing with the topiary!
Did I mention we like to do silly hat photos?

This photo was taken by Megan...our 5 old...good job Meg!
SHAMU! SHAMU!

We got a kick out of baby Shamu below...he follows along and copies whatever mom does...too darn cute!

Hello Everyone! We are back from our wonderful vacation to Disney World, EPCOT , Sea World, Daytona Beach and Georgia. We have a bazillion photo's to share so please keep checking back for updates. I put a few up today but we need to run and pick up two weeks worth of mail and sort it....back to the real world!

The Magic Kingdom was so much fun. Paige and Megan are at the perfect ages...young enough to go on the kiddie rides and still enjoy them and old enough (tall enough) to go on the big rides like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain (our personal favorite) and Big Thunder Railroad. They were also young enough to believe in the magic and that was the best part of the trip!

One of our favorite things to do at theme parks is try on silly hats and take pictures in them. We started this tradition the last time we were at Disney. We do it at all the theme parks. I think I may make a little scrap album of all our silly hat photos. It's good cheap fun!
The three magical mousekateers!
Happy 41st b.day to me!
Paige the pirate princess!
Megan getting her head bit off by Stitch!
It's Buzz Lightyear!

What a bunch of characters!
